Climate Change and Global Warming

Climate Change and Global Warming seem to be a very hot topic in recent years and continues to be more and more covered as of late. This concern is not unfounded as climate change is already showing that it can cause significant changes to the environment and damage and is predicted to proceed more devastatingly as time goes on. As of now there is a strong scientific consensus that global warming is due to anthropogenic causes, and with that knowledge decisive action should be taken to prevent the damages that are or are predicted to occur due to global warming.
However, nearly anyone can tell that global warming and climate change have become charged words and are now highly politicized and debated, even though the scientific research that has been done so far do not give much reason to doubt. It is important for the general public that will be holding policy makers responsible for taking action against climate change to understand both the cause of climate change, as well as the reasons that it is being so hotly debated. It is also important to see the effects that global warming is having on the world, both on the environment and animals as well as the damages it is causing to humans to give a strong reason as to why there should be so much concern over this topic.

This is the synthesis graphic. It is an infographic relating processes causing global warming as well as facts about carbon emissions.
